window regulator question?

I need a window regulator for my 73, I have one for a 76 and one for an 85. When I looked in my Classic Ind catalog, they list the 73 separate??? Whats the difference? Why wont the others work?
Thanks

Re: window regulator question?

I know on some the shaft that the window crank protrudes is a different length and i think its the newer 81-87 that is shorter... other than that i think they interchange

Check this out; https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,c...parttype,10217

I just ordered one for my 82 (different P/N and actually a few bucks less).

Re: window regulator question?

The 73 has smaller diameter rollers and track. Your 73 window must have the 73 regulator.
