Back –up light ?
Were is the back-up light switch located on a 67 C-20 with 3 on the tree?

I think they are located on the tranny and not the colum..

That’s were I always thought it was but pulled the trans. last night there was no wire which has left me a bit perplexed.
I’m going to a th-400 and floor shift and didn’t want to cut in to the harness going back to the lights.

follow your harness from the fuse box up across the top of your engine comparntment,theyre will be a lt green & a drk green wire that are moulded together,at some point they will drop to the top of your tranny from the main harness,,,,,,thats for your reverse lights,,jeff

Nope no wires and no switch on the trans.

you didnt find those dk green & lt green wires in the harness along the top of the engine compartment ??

Nope none there.
There is Starter sol. Wire Oil press. Wire Power wire for ignition 12v start for ignition

Do the wires drop down on the diverside or the passengers side i have a few wiers that did not get hooked back up after the engine install and the back up lights dont work that is the only thing that i can think of but cant fide a place on the tranny to hook them up to

switch
my switch was located on the column right before it went thru the firewall on top of the column (1971 3/4 C20)

Yup, on the base of column before it passed thru the firewall. If your switch is missing you should still have the wires coming off the fusebox harness. I think they are the green color mentioned before
