Suburban side post clip needed
Anyone have an extra one of these clips? I think they're just 60-63. They hold trim on the middle exterior post between the sliding windows.

I have only seen that trim piece on the '60-'63 GMC Suburbans. What year of Suburban are you working on?

It's a 62 GMC. Thought the 60 Chevy I owned a few years ago had them too, but not sure now..

Re: Suburban side post clip needed
actually would be fairly easy to make with some threaded rod a couple nuts and washers they are covered up with the inside trim so you cant see them when it is all back together

Re: Suburban side post clip needed
maybe a machine screw with the head ground off flatter if necessary to fit under the moulding and JB Weld, solder etc if needed around the head to secure it to the piece of steel you cut as a replica of the original fastener blade

Re: Suburban side post clip needed
Shouldn't be that hard to find, I've had bunches of them in the past. Bump.
