Inner fender Parts ID sticker removal - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Has anyone every removed this sticker only to reapply it to the new inner fender wells?

How can it be removed without destroying it? Is it possible?

Any help is appreciated.

Never knew they were on the inner fender well. I have an 86 Chevy, and mine is in the glove box. I had to put a new glove liner because the old one was broke, but I was able to remove mine and used spray glue to place it in the new glovebox.

Yea early chevys where on the drivers inner well. How you remove your in the glove? Im sure your was in much better condition

Well since it was on plastic, I was just able to peel it off. And yes it was in somewhat better condition.

Keith Seymore can probably answer this better than I can, but I believe you might be able to get a copy of one from gmheritagecenter.com

Normally they just fall off...

I would propose documenting what is on there now and then having site member chipflyer make you a new one.

You are (both) welcome.

The Heritage Center can provide the vehicle invoice, complete with RPO content and pricing, for trucks 1976 model year and newer.

It looks like the attachment below.

They don't do anything with SPID labels - except for providing the RPO content if you don't already know it. Since walkerb has his original SPID he can skip that step.

Warm the sticker with a heat gun or blow drier, then using a razor blade lift one corner and remove..
