step rail
I have a 1982 k20 pu with side fuel tanks. does anyone know of any side steps that would fit on these trucks. thanks

There are no factory 3/4 ton short beds.

OK, I put a set of these (except #204040 for short bed) on my K10 RCSB a year and a half or so ago. No issues. You do want to tighten the bolts up once in a while though.
You have to drill one hole in the frame rail for each side. I used a 1/4" drill, then drilled that out with a step-drill. See installation guide on this page. Available in nicely finished black powder coat (which I have) as well as in stainless (#204041-2). The ones from LMC are these same items, except marked up from MSRP. ![]() Here is how mine look. The angle is adjustable: I made mine parallel to the ground though the rear lift is an inch higher than the front. ![]()
