here's mine
I used 3/4" mdf, covered with some sheet metal and vinyl. I got the cup holders from a conversion van company. The rear part has a "waterfall" (like the corvette convertables do) to cover the gas tank and incorporates a 10" sub with the amp mounted on the back. I had to make it in 2 pieces for it to slide under the dash, and the two pieces are screwed together with some little striaght brackets i had sitting around. Other than that, it just sitting on the floor between the buckets. The original plan was to put a tranny temp guage in the flat portion in front of the shifter, but I may instead put a 10 disk changer, or I may leave it empty...haven't decided. I made templetes for it out of card board. |

An easy way to make consols and mid high speaker boxes is to make it all out of cardboard + duc tape, sometimes bondo too!
Then just cover it all with fiberglass mat and or putty. Then just sand till ya like it and paint it with spec ell paint, or what even paint ya like. Or ya can cover it with vinal or cloth. Cheers
