Aftermarket Fenders
Who has had to modify the aftermarket fenders to get the gaps correct . I had to cut , weld and add metal to get them right.

Re: Aftermarket Fenders
I have some pretty nice stockers and fell into some new re pops for basically nothing. After seeing these threads I'm going to hang onto the stockers until I see how the re pops hang. Was going to sell the stockers with another project truck package but I can wait a bit.
GMtruck nut, you have a pick of what you had to do? |

Re: Aftermarket Fenders
All of my repo fenders fit good. Just needed some time to make sure everything was aligned correctly. The only mod required was the new inner fenders were missing a hole to bolt to the front outer fenders. A simple drill took care of that.

Re: Aftermarket Fenders
This is how the gaps looked after slicing away some metal on the edges. Before this was done the fender was aligned with the body line and door but was a 1/4" above the hood
