Re: what do you think????
wrong engine. It has obviously been swapped out since it has the head drilled. If you look along the bed line here you can see the rust between the panels. This trucks isn't that rare, it doesn't even have a big back window. Who knows if the trans is original or not. Looks like it has house twist ties on some of the wires. Plus where are all the switches?

Re: what do you think????
the truck don't look too bad , at least the hood isn't rotted like most of these trucks are.
most likely a it has 305 v8 by the color blue. it would be much better if it was a 6 lug truck. |

Re: what do you think????
Maybe I missed it, but I don't see a price. With his line about fully restored trucks going for 25K- whatever, he is going to be REAL proud of that truck.

Re: what do you think????
Not worth 3500 imop, but seems to be fairly solid. I'd be willing to bet that's Not a 283.

Re: what do you think????
When I see "fully restored it would be worth....." I always want to reply,, Yeah and BRAND NEW it cost $1785,, Yours is over 50 years old and nearly used up. How about I give you 1/2 of what it cost new!
This Barrett Jackson / Mechum crap of Rich Boys trading these concourse restorations for STUPID money has got every jerk with a rustbucket UN-COLLECTIBLE old POS thinking he has a gold mine. just like a fat girl,, she may be sitting on a gold mine, but you still have to make it marketable or no one is gonna buy it. The truth of the matter is,,, if he were to invest 1000-1500 hours, and $30,000 into it,,, It MIGHT be worth the $25K he mentions.
