2005 Silverado 5.3 swap
So I bought a 2005 5.3 out of a Silverado half ton with a 4l60e transmission got a good deal $1,500 130 thousand miles on it, my question is that on the stock intake manifold it has a return port to the fuel tank someone told me this was for vapors can I take this off, I have a Boyd thank with a 340 stealth pump in it any help would be appreciated thank you

There was a return style fuel rail on some of the truck manifolds. You would need to run that as a return back into your tank.

I guess what I don't understand is that the returns not on the fuel rail it's a port in the manifold

Got a pic of it? most 2005 i have seen were a returnless fuel rail. Just realized you are probably talking about the purge valve. Yes this can be taken off and removed from the tune to stop a check engine light

Alright so how do i plug that hole what can I use to plug it with and in is there a built in fuel regulator or do I need to still put one on the fuel line sorry about all the dumb questions but I'm really new to this and I guess I should tell you guys I'm building a 68 stepside I post a picture but I don't know how
