64 c10 Power steering
Okay guy's, whats it gonna take here to install some power steering in my 64 c 10?
I'm installing a BB 454 along with a TH400 all from a 1978 c 20. I'm going to have the shifte(Lokar) on the floor. Now I know I need a pump and lines and all that but what else do I need to get it done? Thanks for the help all! |

Re: 64 c10 Power steering
You will need the pump brackets for your particular engine and water pump configuration as well as the pulleys to drive it. Then you will need a '68-'86 C series or '87-'91 R series steering box and pitman arm. If you are also upgrading to disc brakes, I would recommend the entire steering linkage from your donor truck. And of course you will need a steering box adapter plate, hopefully from me. If you are keeping the original steering column you might need the tube and flange also.
