Air Lines
I am about to start running air lines. Any advice??
Placement. I was thinking about sleeving it in some places with some 3/8" pex to protect it. Is this needed? I was going to hold them down with rubber lined P clips. How far away from heat is safe? I am running a full manual set up with the valves and gauges pictured below. |

Re: Air Lines
I finished up my 69 about 6 weeks ago & it was fun. I used the same rubber insulated clamps you're going to use. I just made sure it wasn't going to rub against anything, and the parts that did I put a rubber hose around the DOT line to protect it. As long as it isn't rubbing against anything I think you'll be okay. I still have a tiny leak some where. The bags will stay inflated for weeks and not drop, but the tank will run out of air in about 2.5 to 3 days. Once I'm healthy enough I'll try & track the leak(s) down. Had hip replacement surgery 5 weeks ago so still a little weak.
