Gotta love Michigan. Last week Monday it was 0 degrees, Friday it was 60 and yesterday we got a foot of snow.

I made it to the shop today. Unfortunately, all of the loose ones I have are from AC trucks. All of the non-AC ones are still attached to good dashes and I don't want to risk pulling them off of the dashes.

It's actually in bad shape. All of the speaker holes were broken and its was split pretty bad. I'm currently in the process of repairing with some padded dash filler. Are the pads the same or was the insert just different?

Pad years are 73-78, 79-80,& 81-87. 73-80 are the same cutout but in 79 they went to dash mounted vins, 78 and older was in the door jamb. 81-87 didn't change, and that is the applique you have. The older ones are round at all 4 corners and flat.

This is the style that I need. My truck is a 76 and I'm but sure if the dash is right or anything else. Is this a 76 insert? It was cut on the left side and is to short.

That's a newer style dash (81-87) insert. How is the rest of your dash...any cracks? I have several original pre-81 dashes with non-AC filler panels in good shape and I'm currently looking for one out of an 81 or newer in good shape.
