Busy day!
I got started on my new grille panels for the the truck. I bought some new aluminum ones from a guy on FB Jason Vannatta he makes all kinds of neat panels for these trucks. They had to be trimed a little but I think they turned out great. Better than all the screw I had in mine that I made.
I also got the deforst compressor switch wired so that I can run the comprssor anytime time now no matter where the cable is. Works fine I even left the factory switch hooked up also so when I'm running the AC I don't have to worry about turning it on manually. Don't worry about the sock it's a old trick for moisture that didn't work at all. Very busy day! But very worth it. BEFORE: AFTER: Much cleaner looking!

Checking out how to upload pictures from my phone.
It didn't work and the advertisements have it messed up. I'll stick to the old way! Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Busy day!
Great day's work Andy! You gonna powder coat or paint them? Or leave them as they are?

Thanks, I think I'm going to polish them first and see how I like them. If I don't like that I'll have them dipped I think are wrap them with carbon fiber wrap.

Re: Busy day!
aluminum can be polished to be the most reflective material on the planet but im guessing thats a certain blend of aluminum.
just sayin cause ya could try to match the panel under your hood. btw they look much better.

Re: Busy day!
Thanks guy's,
I don't have a polisher but I may go buy one today and try it. I had a guy tell me to wrap it in carbon fiber also. That may be a better choice in the long run! Ha
