Need help… weight of 1967 C-40 as pictured
Hey guys,
I just purchased this 1967 C-40 Need to know about what it's weight is as pictured ? Google Fu only give me weight capacity of hauling, not actual truck weight. Trying to figure out if my 18' tandem axle car trailer will haul it. Thanks, Stu |

Depends on your trailer capacity, I brought my '42 1.5 ton dump home on a 12,000# tilt trailer. Yours being bedless should be under 5000#. What type of trailer do you got?

Were going to use my buddies trailer that he hauls with.
My car trailer won't work, just to much bulk. |

My '61 must be pretty close in size and weight....
I had it shipped up from NC. The guy said it weighed in at about 6500lbs cab and chassis. |

Re: Need help… weight of 1967 C-40 as pictured
My buddy calls me last night and says lets go tomorrow.
So I text & call the owner multiple times and we are good to go. I tell him we will be there between 10:00 & 11:00. We get there at 10:20 Seller pulls a no show, I drive 4 hours one way, I sent 2 text, called twice, and knocked on his door. Not F'n impressed. |

If you haven't payed yet, I'd consider them lowering the price to take into consideration lost job time(assuming you had to take time off from work), and gas, expenses, etc.
Just a thought. |

Yes, deal never happened.
On the other hand I am going to go pick up a C-50 project tomorrow. I'll start a new thread if it pans out. |
