Center counsel
Has anyone tried making or putting a center counsel in their 60-66 with the bench seat in? I'm putting an automatic transmission in and plan to put a ratchet shifter in to. I was thinking of making my own center counsel and having the ratchet shifter sit on their.

Re: Center counsel
Here are a couple of ideas that might help you...
I'm still in the fabrication stage on this but here it is with the Ipad4 mini being test fit about a month ago. The second picture is with the shifter surround. Note...this first design was designed to go under the jumper seat and would work on your bench seat. Problem is, I ended up having to abandon that original idea a couple of weeks ago and go with the two bucket seats and the higher rise center console due to the stereo components needing to be accessible. With the 3 seats, I'd have had to remove all the seats in order to access crossovers and fuse blocks. Got a couple of weeks to go on the revamp. I'll put up some pics if you need them. Whatever I can do to help... Third picture - I call this the spaghetti farm Fourth Picture - center console as of last night...going to "french" center console out of a 2006 Ford Focus into the top... Tom
