What size tools to carry?

Putting together a tool kit to carry in a 65 C20, mechanically stock with 292 / 4spd. What is the largest wrench or socket I could need for a repair?

I'm thinking a shock mount bolt or nut is probably the largest thing I would ever need to deal with?

Would I need any deep sockets?

I did get a spark plug socket.

Thanks

Re: What size tools to carry?

Believe a 13/16 is the size of the lug for a 3/4 ton and probably the largest on the truck.

Re: What size tools to carry?

I have an original GM kit for my truck.

1- Philips Screwdriver
1- Flat Screwdriver
1-13/16 Spark Plug Socket ( used with Philips Screwdriver )
1- Small Ball Peen Hammer
3/8-7-16 Combination Wrench
1/2- 9/16 Combination Wrench
5/8- 3/4 Combination Wrench

Tools were originally supplied by Vlchek.
Pouch is clear plastic with a medium blue plastic backing ( not black as in the picture )
Very hard to find, well at least for me it was.

That and a 4 way lug wrench would probably handle 90% of roadside repairs.

Re: What size tools to carry?

I run an LS motor, so I don't have to carry stuff like point files...but I do have to carry a full extra set of metric wrenches.
