In the market for a 72
I'm looking for a 72 burb, 3/4 ton. If anyone knows of any, I would appreciate a heads up. I had one a few years ago and had to sell it for medical reasons, but now I'm back in the swing of it. I should have never let the last one go, but it is what it is.
Thanks for any help, Joe |

Re: In the market for a 72
Good luck Joe. I scoured Craigslist ad's from coast to coast plus EBay for months. Then found the one I bought through a buddy I met on here.
You can use SearchTempest.com which will search Craig's for you. If you have a smartphone, download the Craig's Pro application. You can program it to search specific cities and alert you when what you are looking for is posted for sale. |

Re: In the market for a 72
I thought this was the one but then I read further in the ad and see they converted it to a 1/2 ton. Dhooo! What were they thinking? You should always go more not less. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/5512523807.html

Re: In the market for a 72
Yes, I agree. Looks good though, but it would have been better if they left it as a 3/4 ton.

Re: In the market for a 72
There are a couple out here on the west coast worthy of calling on. These are both 2WD, not sure if you're looking for 2WD or 4WD?

Re: In the market for a 72
Thanks for all the leads but my search has taken a interesting turn. I received some inheritance from my grandparents and in honor of them, I bought a International Harvester Travelall. They were BIG IH and farmall people. So, it's not a Chevy, but I love this vehicle already and have made a lot of improvement to it.
Thanks again for the help and all the advice too. I may see if I can enter it in the KC Car Show in September. |

Hey Joe, good deal. No reason you can't enter it at KC. Can't wait to see it at the Nats. You can also post pictures of it on the "Alternate Tinkerings" forum on here if you want. LockDoc

I already have a lot of questions and needing help with my 68 Travelall so thanks for the invite. |
