'70 GMC C10 lowering for tire sizes
I'm new to this forum but I have a couple questions for you guys. I'm restoring a '70 GMC C10 fleetside longbox. I will be getting all the stuff to convert it to 5 bolt wheels from a '71 C10 a buddy parted out. I'm thinking I want to go with 15" wheels with 255/60R15 tires up front and 275/60R15 tires in the rear. Does anyone have a setup similar to this? I'm thinking I'll want maybe 2.5" drop spindles up front to bring the picup down to the tires a little better, and I might take a leaf out of the rear to do the same. If anyone has any input, it would be appreciated! Thanks.
