You have a small block chevy
Gotta get numbers! Don't once things are changed around it's usually impossible to tell without seeing numbers. Check the deck of the block, which is right in front of the pass. Side head. or on the bell housing! Post pics of those numbers!

Based on that, the block is a 68-79 GM 350 with a 4-bolt main. The stamps on the right hand deck might give a little more info, you might have to pull the alternator out to read the stampings properly.

Small block Chevy with HEI distributor, sitting on six cylinder mounts, with the newer style long water pump front accessory setup.

Rubber hoses with a glass body filter resting on top of the exhaust manifold ... what you have
there is a fire hazard. And yeah. 1968-79 350. Could be two or four bolt main. Only way to be sure is pull the pan & look.
