72 C20 Cheyenne super Restoration
Finally found the exact truck I wanted that was close to home. Factory 402 3/4 ton I have many questions this will get a restoration but first need date correct 402. Truck has tilt but not on Spid sheet? Also door panels don't appear correct for a super plus some idiot cut hole in both for speakers engine was removed recently and air condition actually was still working. The engine that was in truck seams to be a small block from p.o description so I'll be looking for engine. Truck was repainted sometime and for some darn reason it appears they covered the cargo lamp hole with bondo? but overall she seems pretty solid I have few parts but will be making a list of things I need shortly......

Nice find. I'm working on a 72 c20 Cheyenne super myself. I think you will have a really nice rig when you get done.

Yea the super door panels have the wood grain insert not the scroll pattern. You can buy aftermarkets or look on eBay

Re: 72 C20 Cheyenne super Restoration
Since there are a number of detail differences, from original, I'd suggest verifying the SPID matches the door plate with original rivets and the last eight of the VIN match the frame numbers.

Too bad you don't live closer to me, I have the correct '72 402 you need for your truck, complete re-builder. Some thing to think about!!

Re: 72 C20 Cheyenne super Restoration
Someone probably added the tilt later. My K10 Super has tilt and tach, but neither are on the SPID. I can tell the tach is newer because the orange needle isn't as faded as the other gauges...
Your new truck looks a lot like mine, same dark blue/white combo... congrats and have fun!
