parting out 1/2t short bed 2wd
we just aquired this truck and as you will see in the pics it was hit pretty hard in the front and the frame is bent over pretty good.
We are going to strip it today so I will have more info as the day goes by. Everything worked when it contacted the suburban, but once we get enough stuff off the front we will run the engine to make sure (it looks like it is a crate motor but it is pretty hard to tell right now). all 4 tires are good but ony 3 of the wheels can be saved If you are interested or are in need of anything off of it let me know. we are not going to ship any of the real large stuff (ie. rearend and doors but we can hold it for a local pic up w/ a deposit) it does have a GM crate 350 w/ a th350 (we assume they are fine it was running when it got hit, but we are going to test the motor out) Things that are already sold: Bed rear bumper power sliding rear window steering wheel bare cab (none of the other stuff in the cab is sold) seat both doors int, eng, and forward lamp harnesses booster cluster door panels Last edited by rickspickuppart; 09-27-2003 at 12:27 AM. |

Looking for SWB driveshaft to fit 69-72 OE small block/3speed manual. An OE auto driveshaft will work too as long as tranny is th350. Engine must be in "correct" V8 location.

HOPE DRIVER WAS OK
Ouch. Hope drivers were ok. Also hope owner was insured properly. What are people doing when investment in truck gets over $2k-$3k (way over). Baisic insurance won't pay will they?
What can you tell us about power sliding rear window? Is this something you've done or sell? I don't see anything off hand that I could use other than already sold items. keep us posted on what you find!!

it has a one piece drive shaft, if anyone is interested in it send me a measurement from your trans output seal to the middle of the u joint on the rear end (I don't know who made the shaft so I don't know it is correct length).
The driver was fine, and as far as insurance goes he had liability and was at fault, and to top it off they only owned for a couple months. |

I have heard of the the power slider window before but this is the first one I have seen, I was instructed to find out what I can about them and see if there is any interest in them. And maybe we will star carrying them.

Can you tell me anything about the rearend that's in that truck? Looking for a stock style rear end for a leaf spring suspension. A posi would be great, but an open would work for me too. Just let me know. Thanks in advance!

Is the tailgate too big to ship? I'd be real interested in it. What is the price for it?
Just realized you might have sold the tailgate with the bed. If not, email @ kxmotox247@yahoo.com or PM me. Thanks, Josh

rickspickuppart - Just curious... do you just deal in parts, or do you do restoration work on these trucks too?

we do both we started in the resto side about 15 yrs ago then we got into the parts from doing swap meets and because everyone kept buying all the parts we had set aside for jobs.
we usually keep about 3 long term customer resto's going all the time. You need to stop by some time. Shawn |
