New Member Saying Hi
Hello everyone,
I just recently signed up with the board although I've been reading almost every single post here for about a month, thought maybe it's about time to post. I just recently picked up a 69 3/4 ton and will be starting a ground up resto shortly. My name is Gene, and I live in Arizona. As a matter of fact, my wife and I moved here from Pennsylvania (rust belt) in '98, and man, I can not believe the condition of these vehicles. Also, I want to say thanks to Rick and his son, Shawn at ****************. There're two of the nicest guys I've ever met and give great deals on parts. Well that's about it. I'll be posting pics when I get my camara working again. It looks like there's a bunch of nowledgible folks here, and I'm glad I found this board. It's great! Here's some pics
Wow, thanks for the warm welcome. Here's a few pics. For now I'm just repairing the stuff that's not working. In a few months I'll be starting the resto. I think it's a good starting point.
A small hole in passenger side from leaking heater core. That's really the only hole. Gene |

Hi Gene,
I know what you mean. I get called all sorts of strange combinations of gene including higene (hygeine). My favorite over the years has been Eugene the Jeep. You know from Popeye. I've always hated Gene, Gene the dancing machine! Probably cause I can't dance. Gene |
