68 c20 to 68 c10
Today I purchased a 1968 c20. I also have found a rolling chasing from a 68 c10 that has rear axel and full front suspension. Its a 6 lug. Its only $350. How hard would it be to swap everything over? Thanks for any and all advice.

Re: 68 c20 to 68 c10
I can tell you, you are going to need to cut the rear axle "U" bolts off your C20 rear differential. I broke a breaker bar trying to get mine off and finally just got out the angle grinder and cut off wheel and cut them off. You can order them new from LMC truck.
If you are ok with 6 lug rims and most likely drum brakes at all 4 corners the $350 is cheap for a rolling chassis. You might just use the rear differential, swap in a set of 5 lug axles and sell the rest. Then do a 5 lug disc brake swap in front.
