speaker placement help please
1968 c10...I have 2- 5 1/4" & 2- 6 1/2" rockford frostgate speakers. I will put 2 in the doors & need advice on where to put the other 2 speakers. The gas tank is in the stock position.
I am thinking in the kick panels, on top of the dash or under the seat. Please advise. Don Last edited by weldvair@embarqmail.; 04-17-2016 at 12:22 AM. |

Re: speaker placement help please
I would put the bigger ones in the kick panels and the smaller ones in a custom built console in front of the seat or the back corners using the brackets made by a board member here.

Re: speaker placement help please
My first choice would be door panels & rear cab corners, but with the gas tank in the cab speakers CAN NOT be put in the cab corners.

Re: speaker placement help please
Put the 5 1/4" speakers in the door PANELS. Put the 6 1/2" speakers back on shelf in garage. Buy 8" enclosed sub. Install and enjoy.
