under dash wiring?
ive decided the best and easiest thing for me to do with my 71 c10 is to slowly get all new wiring, since i cant afford the $500 harness to redo the whole truck. It started great for a while, then one day i went out turned the key and got NOTHING so i charged the battery overnight and still nothing. not even a click. the wiring needs to be cleaned up anyway and im at a loss of what to do, everything ive done ive learned how to do from youtube or this sight but theres an end to everything i guess! any ideas of whats up or where do get a dash wiring kit for cheap enough that i wont want to cry? im on a tight budget and my hours at work just got cut back A LOT

Re: under dash wiring?
There is a small red wire (fuse able link)that goes from the junction block (mounted on the passenger side fender near the battery) that wire supplies power to your dash/fuse block/start switch, etc. if you check that wire and don't have power, chances are it's blown from a short somewhere. Try checking that and see if that works...
