np203 np205 skid plates
did gm uses the same skid plates for the np 203 and np 205?

I think the skid plate style matters more about the type of transmission installed and the weight rating of the truck. Those two things determine the shape of the crossmember that the skid plate bolts to.

The skid plates are the same. I had a 400/205 and a 350/203 and compared them. Gm added an extra crossmember and bolted each end of the skid plate to each crossmember.
