Mini spool install help

So I got all the parts in but now I can't spend it inside the carrier to line up a pin that goes all the way through. Is it supposed to be this tight without any shims? The two blocks that go in the middle are pretty tight it's gonna be kind of tough to separate them to get the axles in with the c clips

Re: Mini spool install help

It's been a good while since I put mine in but I remember it being very tight and a pain to get in. Also makes a lot of worry some noise when Turing tight in the shop😕

Ok good, as long as I know it's supposed to be this tight then I feel better.

Re: Mini spool install help

I just watched a YouTube video and the guy left the tires on, pulled all the spider gears, put the two side peices of the mini spool in, pushed the axles in, put c clips on, pushed the two rectangle blocks in the middle nice and easy by hand?! Mine had to be tapped in with a hammer. Then he spun the tire until the pin hole in the spool lined up with the hole in the carrier, slid the pin through no problem and done. Why is mine so tight that the blocks have to be tapped in and I can't spin it with the tires it's so tight?
