can some body show me some pics
hi guys im wanting to do my grounds on my truck .. and ive heard that you guys also ground all your lights .... i have a hard time understanding how to achieve this by just reading words .. can one of you show me some pics on how to ground my lights ? all lights that you think should be grounded thanks for any of your help .... is that wire part of the stock light harness ? or did you add it ? and if added i can only see the wire going to the grill where is it on the light it self ? if i ad a ground to the tail lights housing which im assuming is where the bulb goes into ... will it still work for LED tail lights ? and do i also ground the parking lights the same as the tails ?

Draw a mental picture of a line between the thing you want to ground and the - terminal on the battery. Then create an electrical connection between that picture on the the vehicle. The - terminal is usually connected to the fender nearby with a small wire. The big cable is to run the starter. From there, all the electrical connections to get to the load need to be good.
When a vehicle is new, there's no rust so things work fine. As time goes by things deteriorate. |
