I drive by the Chevrolet twin to that truck every day. A dark blue and white Super with almost no options. It's a very interesting truck.

I would think a Sierra Grande would have at least AC on it.....And to add, I would really like to see the documentation on the miles....

I am doing what I would call a budget build on mine and have close to 10k tied up in it already and really have barely come to a point of being able to assemble much. Parts are not cheap anymore especially used ones, I have seen the prices guys have paid for parts that I have thrown away better of in my lifetime. So like has been said it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I believe he will get 20k or real close for it.

It's nice and the length of the bed has nothing to do with value when it comes to low mile survivors. Speakers cut into the doors hurt it more. Personally, I don't care that it's a Cheyenne Super. I've had Custom Deluxes with better options and to me that's even cooler. I guess considering how over inflated the prices are on about every 67-72 truck or part is these days, the price isn't so awful

As Eric alluded to that is Sharpie's truck. Nice guy, and knows his stuff. He wouldn't ask $20,000 if it wasn't a super nice truck.

Looks really nice but I would agree that it is overpriced. My 71 Cheyenne Super was not far off in regards to condition and I couldn't get anything close to that.

It's a really nice truck, and I know sharpie knows these trucks inside and out...but there's a big difference in value between swb and lwb trucks. There's just not a lot of guys that will be on a lwb truck with 3ott and no a/c. Not that anyone would drive a low mileage survivor much...

Someone may buy it at that price or close. Just because they want a survivor and they're only original once. I am not that guy--- but I'm cheap

Well, consider me one of the guys that would pay more for a nice original long bed than I would a short bed. I'm a C20-C30 kinda guy myself. Short beds are nice but you could haul just as much with a decent station wagon of the same time period... In some cases probably more... As far as what he is asking for this truck, IMO 20 grand is a little heavy but hey, ya gotta start somewhere. I'm not into trucks with a 3 OTT, Instant turn off for me. As the old saying goes, there's an ass for every seat....

I don't see too many truck for sale that aren't what I consider too much money. Everybody is an expert appraiser these days. They see a low mile survivor or fresh quality restoration of a prime example C/10 going for top dollar and think that's what there's is worth w/o any consideration of what justified that price. That is how prices keep jumping up. That and Ebay, where people are competing to buy a bunch of pictures and a description. There is a vast number of new to these trucks people out there who only know what they see now. I'm not stuck in the past, I'm not into new dumbness and have watched a gradual increase in value over the last 2-3 decades on trucks and parts until recent years where the internet bring the world to the fingertips of otherwise unresourceful people. Seen a lot of new to these trucks guys become overnight experts, too.

I don't think hauling ability plays into the value of a low mile survivor. And, the same goes for the transmission. You could look at it as adding to it's value for being a less likely combination and a transmission/shift method that was once the standard that has fallen to the wayside. It adds to the nostalgic factor to any of those who grew up riding in cars with them. One thing that has always attracted people to these trucks is their being the transition between earlier and the modern times and this truck makes a great example in a world of most everything having A/C and automatic. The day has passed where a person orders a truck with the best comfort and convenience package yet doesn't want all the frivolous bells and whistles. A new truck buyer back then could have started out driving Model Ts.

Very nice truck. Interesting how it's optioned. It might have been the one they used to advertise "V8 Serria Grande" for X amount, then you get there and it's a plain Jane one. Still cool though

I think you've got to find a buyer who believes heavily in the emphasis on relatively low miles given the fact that its a little thin on the basic comfort options.
It would not be something that I would pursue for that 'price vs. package' segment and the low miles is not a really great selling point....to me. The reason is that I would, of course, want to drive it and I don't have the facility or time to store or show or probably keep the mileage down in that 'sweet spot' (below 50k)....so its not an option (or truck) for me.
However, as previously mentioned there is usually a buyer for every truck you sometimes just have to have the patience to find them.

That is a nice looking truck for sure. Very similar to mine, with the 3 ott and no a/c, so was a little disappointed, but not surprised how badly that affects the price. I'm sure he's like everyone, ask high then willing to accept a few thousand less

3OTT is a good theft deterrent for an expensive truck. As far as price goes, if he gets what he is asking for it, I guess that's what it was worth (to someone).

I look at as you could spend 20g's on a 5 year old truck and watch it depreciate or buy that and if taken care of it could even go the same way. What I use my truck for,going to the dump,towing a very light boat and just do a couple thousand miles a year it would be a better investment than a newer truck and worth the expense.

I agree with CG, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay.. I just watched a 68 L88 Corvette on tv go for 800k at the auction WHY !!!! People have lost their minds I am here to tell you
