Cab was probably a 3-speed or an automatic. Looks like a bigger hump will have to go back in.

pics are great but i need and want measruments. I know how to do it in a way but my main concern is the front end. I know i need to move my core support down. It needs to be the same as what i take out of the frame. man I do not know if this is worth the work oh well maybe lotec will post on this
see ya Darren

Can anyone tell me why he didn't angle the frame at the drop down so he wouldn't have to notch the floor? From what I can see if the stock front clip were angle cut at the nds, there wouldn't be a need for the floor to be notched...

n2trux, yeah i learned from that mistake. ifuess it only a cosmetic mistake. for some reason i was thinking that woul be further ahead of the cab. but yes i should have put the tubing on a slope there. (btw, this is my first full custom) heh

i'm not under estimating you capabilities, but if you need instructions then i wouldn't recommend you doing it to your vehicle.

ohhh. ok. let me think. make measurements and marks for the body mounts. they need to be perfect when they go back on. test fit panels (and cab) if possible. check distibutor clearance. i have to jack up the cab to get mine out. heh

I was just curious if it was done that way for a reason that I didn't see. Sometimes what looks wrong in a pic has a very valid reason for being the way it.... |
