Quick question-need quick awnser

i got another propane question, first off, i put a new rad in the truck today, the old one had a fitting for one of the heater hoses and the other went to the condenser (on propane) then intake, well my new rad doesnt have the fitting so im going to have to go to the water pump, the water pump is plugged with a massive set screw deal that has an allen head top on it, what i want to know is i have the one heater hose blocked off because the new rad doesnt have the fitting and i dont have the fitting to thread into the water pump. will this harm the condenser? i took the truck for a spin tonight after putting the rad in and when i got home i popped the hood to make sure all was good and antifreeze was dripping out of the condenser where the 2 haves join. and i also noticed the condenser was very cold. i think this should go away when i get the heater hose hooked up to the water pump because the anti freeze will flow. but until i do that, like tomorrow morning i need to get to work and ill get the parts on the way home kinda thing, but should it be okay to drive? what bad could happen if anything? hopefully someone can help me because its late now and im going to work first thing....thanks in advance

Derek

PROPANE

the propane system you are useing is a liquid withdrawal system. it needs the engine heat (from warm eng water ) to convert the liquid propane to a gas. they will run without a heat exchanger, but for how long is the question. if the engine dies on you, let it set till the propane turns to gas in the heat exchanger. this can take some time. leave the hood down as this helps the underhood temp warm the liquid propane. also driveing at a slower pace will help. more questions e-mail me troylv@cox.net or pm troylv

You won't go very far before it completely freezes up and quits running all together. I have seen forklifts freeze up and stop running just because the radiator was low on water. When you get it hooked to the water pump it will be fine. I hope you don't have far to go to work...like Troy said if it stops just give it a while to thaw out and it will go again for a while. I have never seen one damaged from freezing up and I worked on forklifts for years
