Difference in spring hangers?
Is there a difference in leaf spring hangers (the front hanger w/core support) from 1/2, 3/4 and 1 tons? I know the frames vary in size. Wondering if the front hangers are different too. I know the 1 ton 4x4s didn't come around until 77, I think.

Re: Difference in spring hangers?
Pretty sure 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton frames are the same (it's been discussed here before) with 1 ton and Longhorn frames being stouter. When I got my Softride front springs, application for 1/2 ton was same as 3/4 ton, so I suspect the spring hangers are the same. Like I said, I am assuming -- gonna be interesting to see what others post up.

Re: Difference in spring hangers?
The half and 3/4 ton hangers are the same within the similar years. The rear hangers are different on the k30 trucks compared to the the 3/4 and 1/2 ton trucks. I believe the front hangers are basically the same. There may be a difference in material in some regard, but the overall geometry is the same.

Re: Difference in spring hangers?
On my 85 Chevy I used Spring hangers off of a 79 frame, both 4x4. Worked fine. The 85 is a 1 ton and 79 was 1/2 ton. Same thickness I think too.
