new fan shroud

I picked up my aluminum fan shroud today fitted for my radiator with 2 12" electric fans on it...very pretty!

No Tyler those work best.

Shrouds are there so they can only suck the cooled air coming through the radiator. All the air comes through and stays there, nice and cool, then gets sucked towards the engine. If it was more open it would pull hot air from around the engine or not through the radiator at all and wouldn't be as effective.
