inliner questions
I'm slowly gathering my parts to put a 292/th350 in my '67. The truck originally had a 6cyl stick so I have that rear crossmember but it appears the auto trans will need to be mounted more towards the back of the frame. For someone who has run across this before and could advise me, that would be great. Also, the 292 has staggered front mounts, can I just use different holes in the frame on one side and just move one mount or do I need a special 292 mount for that side? I was going to run a split manifold with two glass packs but was told I couldn't stand to drive it that way, to much noise. So what would be acceptable for an exhaust system? Thanks

Re: inliner questions
you will need an auto tranny crossmember and remove the standard trans crossmember. also youll need the correct 292 mount for the passenger side. 292 is a little bit odd that way.

Re: inliner questions
That motor came from a '65 do you think that passenger side motor mount would fit the '67 frame?
