Rear Seat Brackets

Hello all, New guy here. I just bought a 71 Jimmy CST and the Brackets to hold the rear seat are missing. Any ideas where I could get a set. I bought some off the Web and they dont appear to be the correct brackets. At least from looking at pictures from other trucks.

Re: Rear Seat Brackets

First off… Welcome to the board and congrats on the new jimmy. You should post some pics!

There are 4 bolts in the rear of the seat and 2 bolts / 2 brackets in the front.

Attached are a few pics of the brackets.

Re: Rear Seat Brackets

Nice truck! The bracket just lays on top of the front bar and you bolt it down. Is your rear seat original?

Re: Rear Seat Brackets

Definetly worth it. Yes the brackets hold down the front bar. 4 bolts hold down the rear of the seat.

Re: Rear Seat Brackets

Do you have the two holes in the floor for the front brackets? I don't see them in the picture but it's hard to tell
