Rear axle fluid capacity?

I'm about to drain my rear axle , to change the fluid and put a new gasket on. How many ounces of fluid go in? I ask because I need to know how many bottles of gear lube to buy.

Re: Rear axle fluid capacity?

Ok, thanks.
12 bolt rear is the standard rear end for a C-10, right?
For some stupid reason I was thinking it would be a 10 bolt.
Yeah, don't ask. Overcome with a brain fart, I was.
