CPP shock support brackets - You using them ?
Wondering how many are using these CPP shock support/stiffener brackets ?
And if you are, was it a preventative install or were your mount holes already wonky ? My shock mount holes are still like new and so I'm debating whether it's a necessary upgrade or not, as I'm half wanting to keep it all stock but half wanting to prevent any future problems... |

As long as your shocks don't bottom out you should be fine. I suspect the shock stud holes got wallered out on the originals because they came loose over time.

I used them on my 72. A great upgrade and you can't beat the price. 4wd trucks came from the factory with them.

I used them. For me, the low cost and ease of installation made it a no brainer to beef up the mount and as you say to prevent any future problems.

Do you have to drill out one of the holes? The holes in my frame are two different sizes.
