68Basket is disqualified from our competition because he was smarter than us and bought one finished....
I have always liked this one. Lets see some interior pics (rear notch area and seating please).... Love it. Marc

I liked your wagon and love the Suburban. It has the perfect look. I agree with Marc, you are smarter buying one done. Less work, usually less money and instant fun.
What chassis / suspension is the Burb running? |

Re: New to me 1950 GMC suburban
Thanks guys. This one was built a few years ago. Has some really nice stuff and quality labor done on it. Also has a few issues and stuff not finished. My first project is installing ac, the vintage air front runner setup was put on the engine but never had the rest of the system installed.
SUspension is Heidts mustang 2 front, TCI rear 4 link, all ridetech ridepro management. LS swap. Ill get more pics and probably start a build thread of sorts to keep everything i do to the truck in one spot. I love it so far. |

Re: New to me 1950 GMC suburban
Thanks for the interior pics, I always wondered what the interior looked like. Those seats look comfy. I will have to ask Thomas Tucker (original owner) where he got his inner fenders from for the notch area..
Marc

Re: New to me 1950 GMC suburban
That thing is cool! What do you know about the interior paint? That is the look I'm going for as far as the color and a satin finish.

I watched this burb move around on Instagram.
It's such a cool ride.
