More grill questions
I seem to have located a 'new old stock' 73 / 74 grille that might fit my 1975 blazer in terms of size. What I am unaware of is how the mounts would work and what I would need to get it to fit securely. Currently I have an after market grill with it's own mounting brackets so I'd need to get everything to get it on there. What would I need and what should I watch out for??

Re: More grill questions
I think the center support is the main difference and you'll need one from a 73/74.

Re: More grill questions
You just need the center support/hood release from a 73-74 and there are also two outer supports. One on each side, kind of triangular that go in near the headlights.

Re: More grill questions
I think I already have a 73 / 74 center support and release. I changed out the original (assume trip release) as it wasn't working and got a center one from the pick n pull. Does the grill insert actually fasten TO that center post??

Re: More grill questions
Yes, The top and bottom middle of the grill will screw into center support but you will also need the side supports.
Here's the thread I referenced to when I did my first one. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=422411
