EZ Chassis Swap experience?

Guys, I picked up this 55 TF, SWB truck but it does not come with the chassis. I have a donor C10. I have seen mixed reviews about the EZ chassis stuff but I can't get anyone who has actually used it to respond to me. I am doing the 2 wheel drive and with a drop kit would be my plan with small block and 700r4.
Any experience and opinion would be appreciated.

Re: EZ Chassis Swap experience?

I have not done the EZ swap but a friend has and he did it in his driveway in a day. He said it was very easy to do. He's got a 58 on a 85 chassis.

Re: EZ Chassis Swap experience?

I'd think if you are willing to spend the money for it, it most likely could be a big headache reducer.

I'd think it also should get it away from what a lot of prospective buyers view as slapped together trucks that have frame swaps under them when you point out that you used that particular kit to do the swap. That puts it many steps higher than the trucks thrown together by Back Yard Billyv with what ever he can scrounge up for cab mounts.

Re: EZ Chassis Swap experience?

Looks like a pretty cool truck. 55 short stepside BBW. Good starting place IMO.

Re: EZ Chassis Swap experience?

Not with this kit, but the S10 - 3100 kit.

Everything was great, and their customer service is the best.

Go for it
