toolbox door screw sizes
Could someone please advise what size the screws are supposed to be for the toolbox door hinges? I need to drill out and re-tap the holes in the door. Also is the fiberglass box just held in by sheet metal screws? if so what size?
Thank you

Re: toolbox door screw sizes
Can't help with the tool box door hinge screw size but the fiberglass box is also supported at the back of the box under the bed floor. Believe they are 1/4 x 20 Phillips head, about 3/4'' long thru the bed floor down into a double L bracket that uses the same type screws thru the back of the fiberglass box. The double L bracket also has a doubler plate for reinforcement.
Have pulled a couple tool box setups from parted trucks and that is what I found on all of them. Wish my '71 4x4 had the tool box setup but then it would have been more $$ to fix the rust and then a decent door and a good fiberglass box and a good set of hinges and a good L bracket and ........... sometimes seems never ending. Hope that helps some.
