Are all 12 bolt rear ends equal?
I have a ford 9" now but seems like it might be better and cheaper for me to get a 12 bolt which i had but gave away! I want disc in the back and dont mind adding them on if i have to, but strength wise are all 12 the same are some stronger then others, are there certain years of cars/truck to pull from that are better Or will a newer 12 bolt off a 80's or 90's work ?

Re: Are all 12 bolt rear ends equal?
FAQ section - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=562446
But that's assuming you have a 60 - 66 C10. Not sure since you didn't state what your working on. Hope this helps.
