Somewhere in Kansas
My brother is moving his son from Washington state to Virginia. I get a text from him with a pic of this truck stating "somewhere in Kansas" Love it that he'll send pics n texts anytime, anywhere of 67-72 trucks. If this truck is a board member, nice truck!

Re: Somewhere in Kansas
Speaking Kansas...
A week ago I was pulling my 36' 5th wheel with my Duramax dually on I-35 just north of Kansas City. I passed a young man (early 20s?) in a beautiful restored 72 bronze and white Cheyenne with Kansas plates and gave him a thumbs up. I was driving 70 MPH. About 280 miles later, he pulled into a rest area about 10 minutes behind me. I went over to take a look at his truck as he was returning to it. He said it had been his mother's truck and was restored 8 years ago. I didn't ask how his mom acquired the truck. He had driven from southwest Kansas and was headed for home in Baraboo, Wisconsin. He was still visible in my mirror for about another 50 miles still booking along at 70. I did suggest he join this forum! Wish I'd have asked a few more questions and snapped a picture. |
