Help move panel roof from ga to iowa!!!

Hey guys,

Know I haven't been on much- between family and job, my time has been really stretched, but I would love to help out Mike (wahl4m)!!!

Mike needs a panel/suburban roof for his project and I have a spare, BUT I'm in the Athens, GA area and Mike is in Norwalk, IA.

I can get the roof to Toledo, OH via Brad54- he will be there this Thursday (Aug 18th) for a few days, but we need help to get it further.

If you can help, please add to this thread!!!

Hmmm, lots of lookers but no takers?

Is there anyone near Toledo that could hold it for Mike until he can get it?

They aren't all that heavy. Remember, I walked about ten feet with it on my back to move it from the donor to the flatbed.
Two guys were balancing it, but I had the weight and somewhat a wobbling roof to control/balance.

Glad to see you have a good lead on one!

Highsider,

I know that I can unbolt most of the roof, but how much will I need to cut at the doors?

Have you had a chance to look in my signature at my "Roof Swap" thread link?
