This is a Fireman Hat style NOS Marker Lamp Accessory kit. It has all the hardware screws, clips and wiring harness. $325 shipped + paypal fees. First, I'll take it in the thread. Thanks for looking!

Re: NOS Roof Marker Accessory Kit

That's a really cool old part, never seen one before or knew they existed. Is it Hockey Puck style? Looks like the Firemans Hat type on top.

Does look like a Fireman's Hat! Hockey Puck or Fireman's Hat, they are for our trucks. What does the Hockey Puck look like and FIT? I'm getting OLD!!!!

Here's a pic of the Hockey Puck style, it looks like both of your sets are the Firemans Hat style. They share the same base so the lens is interchahable. The Hockey puck style ere used from 69-70 and Firehat style was used in 71-72

Didn't mean to interrupt your sale, I love seeing this old stuff that has been tucked away for years!

No problem on getting an education of the most popular trucks in the world! I love seeing it as well and will be listing more as I sold my last project. Thanks, Dan

Dan, I agree with Rob's above post on them fitting the same base/pad and here is another view of the two lenses sitting side by side for comparison. Mel

Re: NOS Roof Marker Accessory Kit

Can anyone verify the models and application years? When I first saw this P/N 12309087 kit a few years ago I thought it was for 73 up square bodies.

I would also like to know Tim, I have a set I bought in the early 90's. Not trying to hijack thread, just wanted the info out there, no their not for sale, I'm building a K20 around them. here's a pic.

Google and the Goodwrench markings put it at 90-91. Thats why I didn't year mark my set, but I think mine are 73-87 . BUT, they are the same 71-91 with exception of wiring hook-up! If you change your mind, I have a dollar! Welcome all input!

Re: NOS Roof Marker Accessory Kit

70-91 are all the same. I guess some '70s got the '69 style, but most were the new style (by what I've seen)

Re: NOS Roof Marker Accessory Kit

Thanks for everyone's input on this! I knew they covered more than 71-72, so I didn't qualify with specific years on our trucks, so I learned something. Great board for everyone! Thanks, Dan

Re: NOS Roof Marker Accessory Kit

To be clear I was asking for specifics on the P/N 12309087 as shown on the instruction sheet and if it was intended to be used on 67-72 trucks without the raised pads.
The fireman hat lenses were clearly used way beyond 70-72 and there were even California specific, blacked out to the rear, versions on the square body trucks.

The kit shown in post #11 P/N 999197 covers at least 84-87 and superceeds an earlier 84 (only?) P/N 998471 via a search on GMpartswiki.com

Parts Catalog 52A February 1987
21.295 LAMP PKG, Roof Marker(Group 2.575)
84 CK1, 2, 3 (03-06) (EXC CALIF) 999197

Parts and Illustration Catalog P&A 52R January 1988
21.295 LAMP PKG, Roof Marker(Group 2.575)
85-86 CK1, 2, 3 (03-06) (EXC CALIF) 999197
87 RV1, 2, 3

Parts and Illustration Catalog P&A 52A January 1984
