72 Cheyenne Super Interior Colour help needed - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am changing the exterior colour of my truck from solid black to Medium Blue/ white but want to retain the black interior. I will be painting the interior of my cab medium blue to match the outside. Can someone say for certain if all of these items would be black if the truck would have come from the factory with this blue/white exterior- black interior colour combination?
dash pad
headliner
bucket seats
console
steering wheel
steering column
carpet
door panels (they have the woodgrain inserts)
arm rests

Black interior wasn't available in a cheyenne super. But if you were to make a black interior one everything yoy listed would be black

Black interior was only available on a Super if bucket seats were ordered. They did not have the houndstooth material on them, just vinyl like a Cheyenne. Another one of those odd things GM did.

I have a 1972 Chevrolet truck data book and it does look like black interior was available with the Cheyenne Super trim as long as bucket seats were ordered.
I just wanted some confirmation that the steering column, headliner, carpet, steering wheel, door panels, console, dash pad, etc. would be black in addition to the vinyl bucket seats.

I thought the steering columns were painted interior metal color except if it was a tilt, then it was painted black.

I think with a cheyenne super the column would be black to match the dash pad and sun visors and seat belts

All "soft" parts would be black, along with the top of the dash and steering column
