What is a good patch panel for a front fender?
I have a 1972 Chevy and I think I can get by (if necessary) with a front lower patch panel on the driver's side front outer fender.
What company makes a good one? It will be welded in. |

Check with TKorinek in Mesa AZ on the parts board.
He has fenders for days and it is well worth getting a good piece of steel to work with from the start. Grew up in West By God and know how the east coast winters enjoy old iron..... Smitty

Re: What is a good patch panel for a front fender?
I'd drive 400 miles for that.
I used to drive 3 hours, one way, for 45 seconds of fun. That was when I was hardcore skydiver. It was a 6 hour round trip to the dropzone and the most I ever did was 3 jumps in one day. |

Re: What is a good patch panel for a front fender?
I see good driver side fenders on craigslist all the time. It's the passenger side that I need that are all in crap shape from the battery acid. Have you checked local on craigslist? I always just do searches under the auto parts section for "C10", "C-10" "C/10" or a specific part, like "fender". Just did a search in the West VIrginia area and a I see a pretty good looking driver fender for $100. None of the links work for me though. Maybe because they know I'm in CA? lol
