68 C10 new to me - wheel offset help
I just picked up my first round body 1968 C10 GMC (my dad had a chevy when I was a kid). I have also had a couple square bodies, and currently daily drive a 2015 silverado crew cab.
I know this topic has been beat to death but maybe my questions are different.
I plan on putting a 3" front and rear drop springs with the adjustable track bar and shock re-locators from CPP (*****en kit comes with shocks too for about $500). I also plan to put 2" drop blocks on the rear to level it out for a 3/5 drop. I have 24" x 10 wheels that were on a 2010 silverado 1500 2WD that I want to run. The centers of the wheels had hub centric rings on them that were about 1/2" thick when on the silverado (but this isn't the point). My question is: What would back spacing be for the 10" wide rims front and rear? Thanks! |

Re: 68 C10 new to me - wheel offset help
i dont think youll be able to use 10" rims in the front. theyll hit the tie rod ends. 15x8 rallys 6 lug fit well on the front end so you could measure the backspace on one of those. (3.5" i think). Im running 15x10 steelies in the rear with 4'' backspace but i dont have the bed on yet so i dont see how well they fit yet
