Instrument cluster parts
I am trying to find aftermarket parts for the gauge cluster. The parts I'm looking for are the inner and rear pieces (plastic, tin, etc.). I have been able to find these when part of a kit, like a tach addition kit, but that includes things I don't need. Obviously, I can find the gauges, lens, circuit board, and front piece, but the back big stuff has proven to be tough.

Re: Instrument cluster parts
General: I’ve seen used 3 and 7 gauge clusters that can be rebuilt on ebay for around $100.00. Not sure what you are looking to spend though. When I switched over from a 3 gauge to 7 gauge cluster, I bought a 7 gauge cluster on ebay ($65.00) about 2 years ago that I rebuilt. The parts (bezel and lens) from the Truck Shop in Orange, CA were less than $100.00 shipped. I used my original speedometer and fuel gauge. All of the other gauges worked. It looks brand new. I thought it well worth it compared to a totally new one for almost $500.00.

Re: Instrument cluster parts
Thanks. Yeah, I've been thinking that is probably the best way to go.
Are the gauges supposed to have a green tint to the writing? It seems like I've seen them either way (white or green). |

Re: Instrument cluster parts
Thanks. It's probably easier to describe what I don't need. I don't need the main bezel you see when driving, the clear lens with hashes/numbers, the circuit board, bulbs, or the gauges (Although a "pretty" ammeter would be nice to replace my ugly one). Really just the two main chunks that hold it all together behind the visible bezel. I think one is tin with a few panels, and the other is black plastic (maybe) with turn signal arrows cut in it. One is green inside.
