Fuel pump and return question

I have a 2006 LS engine I put in my 65.
Here is the fuel pump I will be getting.

Question is, on the return fuel line. Can I just block off the one from the engine since the pump kit and filter has a return on it?
Or do I need to run the return on the engine back and block off the one on the filter?

Re: Fuel pump and return question

That's what I did on mine.on the rail return I got a pushlock to an fitting and put a an cap on it...works great..I'm running a walbro 255 and a vett filter/regulator... the reg dumps right back into the tank..only one line going to the fuel rail..

So it shouldnt over pressure the rail this way?
I guess thats how I will pipe mine then.

Re: Fuel pump and return question

No over pressure..the filter/reg prevents that..mine holds around 58 psi on the rails...there's a lot of LS swaps out there setup this same way..

Re: Fuel pump and return question

Just make sure the inline pump is before the filter/regulator.
That regulator/filter setup is how all the vette's of a certain vintage came from the factory.
